Work this stitch from left to right. Come up with the needle along the seam line of your crazy quilt. Insert the
needle into the fabric up and to the right from the entry point. Now bring the needle back up along your seam line
straight down from the previous point. It helps to hold your thumb on the loop of the thread... remember, you want
the needle to come up and over the thread as shown. If you really want to be precise, you can mark even points along your seam line about 3/8" apart and 3/8" away from the seam line. Or try slanting the stitching, or varying the heights of the stitches for something different. |
